Of all the traditional high days and holidays, New Year is always my favourite - appealing to my naturally optimistic nature! This year I woke up on 1 January with one word on my mind. Hope.
Having survived a shocking 2019, followed by all that 2020 had up its sleeve, I distilled my usual ambitious NY resolutions down to just one decision: not to allow the prospect of 2021 to get me down!
