2021!

Today I revisited my blog... There I discovered my last post dated December 2015 - featuring some cute warthog piglets, and a promise to return to updating this space. I acknowledge spectacular failure regarding my mission statement as I find myself here just over 5 years later, in January 2021!

Despite the passing of so many years, I'm still here in the exact same place!  I'm resisting the urge to post yet another photo of this season's identical batch of warthog offspring - the descendants of those 2015 piglets.. Looking back on my past blog entries, it's somehow reassuring to observe in these uncertain times that nature's cycles are still pretty much predictable and timeless. Living close to nature as we do here, is still one of my inspirations and consolations!

So much has happened in the intervening years, it would be extremely difficult to write any worthwhile summary of all our highs and tragic lows..  so the new blog will just evolve in its own way.

Wishing anybody who might come across this, all the best for whatever 2021 has to offer us. As usual I live in hope and optimism!
